Here in its entirety, the unedited collection of Things That Are Sticky. Created for the Broadside, the community college newspaper in Bend, Oregon, it was the first time that I allowed myself to think seriously about comics. My god, why did I ever allow such a thing to happen? The whole thing is a mess. It is nonsensical and absurd. Reviews were absymal. I often heard that it made people uncomfortable to read, and that it was confusing and a disgrace to the art form. But it was some of the most fun I have ever had drawing comics. Fueled by drugs, coffee, and a beautiful woman, I would work late into the night creating this monster. Its very creation haunts my waking hours. And I couldn't be happier for it.
