I understand that you're a multi-media fiend. What are all of the mediums you create with?
Jeez, I guess I have used a lot of different mediums. Fabric for quilts (little story quilts and big art quilts) was my primary mediums for many years. Before that I practiced classical oil painting, then beading in all its forms, ceramics as well. However I always seem to circle back to my first artistic pull which is primarily pen and ink, acrylic and/or watercolor with a peppering of found (collage) items here and there. Mostly I use acrylic wash as a base and water color and pen on top of that. I love to work with found photos, quotes and paper scraps which is why I like to use the brown card stock inserts from T-shirt packaging as a canvas (or any thing I can use to reuse or recycle). I also sing in the shower, one more medium that should be celebrated!
Do you have any rituals before working on art?
Not other than making sure I have all my supplies handy so I don’t have to get up and down a million times interrupting my flow if I’m lucky enough to get there.
You are stuck in a world of only three colors. What are they?
Easy! Red, yellow and blue, then I’d mix the shit out of them!
What country singer do you identify most with?
Dolly Parton, for sure Dolly
Do you have a side hustle? If so, is it anything interesting?
I have lots of side hustles. Firstly, I trim weed! I make sure that people like you get the very best quality bud you deserve. I also do custom portraits and fine art. Then my side-side hustle is making and selling good luck charms and talismans. You know, a little this, a little that, make that bread!

Tell me about the sickest, most moving piece of art you've ever seen or experienced in person?

You've lived in many places all over the world. Is there anywhere you'd live again, or want to live next?
I’d like to visit Thailand again but I’ve never been to India and I really want to go!
