Who are you? What do you play? Where do you call home?
I am Steve I play bass and sing, Trevor plays guitar and sings as well, Ben plays drums. He is a far better singer than Trevor or I, but he does back-up vocals for some reason. We all hail for Billings MT, a wonderful place to open up a meth lab. KEEP IT GROSS!
I was curious if any gang of old men has threatened you to change your name… or if you only change your names for huge/scary motorcycle gangs?
Until there is a world wide organization of old men know for making people disappear demanding we change our name... no. Only the latter of the two.
Your name seems to be pretty fitting, as you guys have been around the metal/punk scene for quite sometime… why go with a stonerish/doom sound? It doesn’t seem like it’d be weird for you guys to play what you play… but it also doesn’t seem like the first choice. Billings didn’t have much in the way of stoner/doomy stuff going on… so… (let’s see if I can make this question any longer…) why do you play the stuff you play?
I can't speak for the other guys but for me. Its going back to older (no pun intended) influences from when I was growing up. The hard/classic rock of the 70's on KRKX back when they were "Rattlin The Rims and Rockin The Rockies" as well as the early 90's grunge stuff like The Melvins and Mudhoney. While still being a old punker asshole.
I’ve asked Trevor weekly when your new release is coming out… and I feel like I’ve been asking him the same question for a year now. But… here it goes, when the hell is this album coming out!?!
A common question. As soon as we can afford it and we quit fuckin around. It has taken some time we understand.
Is there anything different about the upcoming release that we should be looking for, or are the songs similar to the Pi+Fire Split and Wyrm Ryder EP?
They are structured for the most part the same. Some heavy blues, some a little more metal. But we had more time for extra things we didn't before. Sound effects, synth, more layering of guitars. That sort of stuff.
Anyone you’re looking forward to seeing at Dreyfest this year?
Oh your band of course sir! (Bull Market)
If Julia Louis-Dreyfus had a favorite band… what would it be?
Actually she called me the other day and said it was "Fuck Yer Yankee Blue Jeans" or something like that.
If the price of gas rises 2 cents per liter, and last week you bought 20 gallons at the old price, and this week you bought 15 liters at the new price… and altogether you spend 56 dollars… what is the price of one gallon of gas?
Three waffles and an unplucked goose.
