How long have you been doing comedy?
Four years.
Where would be your dream performance locale be?
Edinburgh, Scotland.
What do you feel makes a comedian?
Consistently writing and performing and connecting with an audience through humor.
How do you think your growth as a comedian aided in other aspects of your life?
Doing comedy has definitely allowed me to meet people and travel to different places I probably wouldn't have if I weren’t doing comedy. It has also helped come out of my shell socially. I was the always the shy kid.
What gem would you provide those who may have not tried stand-up comedy yet?
Actually write jokes. Don't just tell a story your friends thought was funny or think you can be funny on stage with nothing prepared.
Who is your largest non-comedian inspiration?
Probably my parents who taught me the value of hard work which is useful in all aspects of life including comedy.
What do you consider to be the worst superpower?
Telepathy. I don't actually want to know what other people are thinking, especially about me.
On a scale from 1 - 10, how do you feel about the evolution of slang in today's culture?
7. I love the fact language can evolve, but I still cringe when I hear a phrase think is stupid.
Where was the last place you traveled?
I recently did a 10-day comedy tour of the Midwest and covered over 3,500 miles from Minot to Denver to Omaha and Wyoming among other places. But, my favorite place on the trip was Laramie, Wyoming.
Is this your first Dreyfest performance?
Yes.
What's a song that can help you get through anything, .....no matter what?
Pretty much anything by REM, but Losing My Religion really speaks to me.
If you could be your favorite animal, but had to lose a foot, would you still choose to be that animal? Why or why not?
I think I would do it because I feel it would be fun to experience life as a different creature and I could get used to the missing limb.
What’s a question you'd like me to answer as an interviewer?
Tim: What's your favorite movie franchise?
Will: Man, this is hard. Favorite franchise. Oh! The only franchise to weave more than 3 movies together into a cohesive fabric and build upon that world with subsequent releases! SHARKNADO!
What do you know about Dreyfest?
much. I know a few people who have performed at it in years past and they say it's lots of fun.
What's the worst flavor you've experienced? How did you come about to tasting it?
I once drank milk that had dog food and BBQ sauce in it because my sister forced me to.
