Miss Macabre aka Christina Larsen is a Billings MT based sculpture, painter and jewelry designer. She works in contemporary mixed media, found objects, salvaged items and bones. The evolution of her art into its current manifestation draws from a variety of artistic influences from classical sculpture to impressionism. The conceptualization of the struggles and pain of death and joys and rebirth of life are ever present during the creation process of each piece of art. Each piece begins as a collection of items that manifest into a scene through an organic process of breathing life back into something that has died. Her art represents its own unique journey from obscurity and abandonment into a new and relevant manifestation.
