How long have you been doing comedy?
Five years.
Where would be your dream performance locale be?
Probably Mad at My Son Square Garden. But for real, I think performing at the Purple Onion would be awesome (because Zach Galfianakas filmed his special there) but its closed now so...maybe the parking lot?
What do you feel makes a comedian?
An ability to see the absurdity in the mundane and to challenge what we accept as normal.
How do you think your growth as a comedian aided in other aspects of your life?
I think coming up in comedy has made me a very confident person in conversation. I’m never scared of looking dumb in conversation because I make a point to look dumb on stage.
What gem would you provide those who may have not tried stand up comedy yet?
Don’t be afraid of silence. Some of the best jokes I’ve ever seen have very long build ups with no laughter (which always intimidated me and occasionally caused me to bail out of jokes) but had huge payoffs. Be confident in your punchlines.
Who is your largest non-comedian inspiration?
Hmm, maybe Amanda Palmer. She’s just such a kick ass musician and outspoken activist, and reading about her life has been hugely inspirational as far as gig performer life goes.
What do you consider to be the worst superpower?
Omnipotence.
On a scale from 1 - 10, how do you feel about the evolution of slang in today's culture?
Huh, I guess I’m gonna say 10/10, but I’m a big fan of using slang three years (or more) late.
Is this your first Dreyfest performance?
Actually I was lucky enough to be part of the show last year and had a great time!

What do you know about Dreyfest?
Its the biggest independent art festival in Montana, and if I’m incorrect, no I’m not.
