Draft Order 2026

The Rori Roulette

Hello again my lovely league! I hope you have all enjoyed another offseason thinking about how great my fantasy football powers are after coming off my THIRD championship. I have enjoyed it thoroughly. Our household couldn’t be happier. THE WHOLE HOUSEHOLD IS HAPPY ABOUT IT. Anyways… It is now time to discover your fate in this year’s draft. My four year old Rori decided the draft position, and boy was it a wild ride. I will update our league with the draft order in a week or two as to make sure everyone watched the video below that I put so much time and back breaking hard work into. Also, read below for our the updated set of rules for this season!

2026 Draft:

Date - Sunday, August 23rd

Time - 11:00am Pacific

The Times They Are A Changin’

All right my minions, let’s get down to business with what our season looks like this year. I have listened to the whining masses and decided to actually do something about it this time. Since you all have to be subjected to another year of my reign, I wanted to at least attempt to make some of you happy. So, without further ado, here are the changes for the 2026 season:

  • First of all, by popular demand, I have shortened the length of the season by on week so that there will only be 14 weeks of the regular season, and the playoffs will conclude with the championship game on week 17. Now you all (mostly Josh) can stop making excuses for your team collapsing in the championship game if you so happen to make it that far.

  • Next, let’s talk about rosters. I have reduced our roster size back down to its normal configuration of 2QBs, 2RBs, 2WRs, 1TE, 1Flex, 1D/ST, and 1K. The only exception is that I kept a roster spot for 1 IDP like the last couple of years because having a defensive player is fun and that’s what I want! Also, I changed our maximum number of each position on our roster slightly, the biggest change being only 3 QBs allowed on a roster at a time.

  • Scoring has been reverted to all of our normal default settings with PPR, 6 points for all TDs, and long yardage TD bonuses. The individual defensive player scoring is the exact same as last year.

  • REMINDER that during the regular season a tie is decided by bench points, but during the playoffs it is decided by whoever is the highest seed. I decided to keep this because it puts a premium on the regular season and playing for a higher seed.

  • Trade Deadline! Yes, there will actually be one this year. I’m planning on setting it for around week 12, so hopefully this will create a little more action on the trade front for us this season. Last year was a barren wasteland for trades, and I don’t like that!

All right there we have it! The new season is almost here and after a year of super-powered TEs, it will be nice to go back to some normalcy. Doesn’t mean it will make any difference to my dominance though. You all will need all the luck and conspiring against me you can muster. Commish is looking to be the first franchise to win FOUR championships in this league. Scott technically is too, but I predict he’s going back to the bottom again like the good ol’ days. LEAGUE OF ORDINARY DERELICTS, LET’S RIDE!

As always, may the odds be ever in your favor…
